Project Description

The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for the successful implementation of the first stage of the SKOOOL program in their country (skoool pilot). (For ref. see www.skoool.ie / www.skoool.co.uk)

S/he will be responsible for the recruitment and management of SME’s, for educational advice on skoool.pt and for all communications with the MOE, the media and the educational community.

Essential Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Experience of teaching Maths/Science
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• An extensive knowledge of broad educational issues in their country
• Extensive curriculum knowledge
• A network of colleagues in ICT, education and teaching
• Knowledgeable on IT / PC usage in general and in the classroom
• Familiar with MS Office applications in a Power user perspective

Additional Skills & Competencies:

• Experience with IT projects in Education
• Experience in Project Management
• Experienced of web portal development process
• Experience dealing with the media
• Team building & Leadership skills
