 John has ten years experience in identifying innovative, technology orientated commercial ventures, building them from the ground up, raising capital and negotiating successful exits for the existing stakeholders where appropriate. In 2004, InnovativeTeachers.com, an online education content and networking portal founded by John was acquired by Microsoft, the world’s largest software company. John subsequently entered into a joint venture with the co-founders of ASOS.com, the UK’s fastest growing and most successful online fashion plc, and founded YourSchoolUniform.com – an online retail platform servicing both schools and parents. Throughout his time as CEO, John grew the operation from zero to a multi-million revenue business, employing 35 staff. This was acquired by OTTO, the world’s largest mail order company, in March 2009. In 2007, he won the Evening Standard/O2 Innovative Business Leader award. An accomplished violinist and trained architect, John brings a diverse set of skills to any business venture he is involved in.
